Panel Connection & Commissioning

Panel connection, termination, labeling and commissioning for LV distribution, MCC, DDC and automation panels.

Service Scope

Panel connection is a critical stage for safely putting an electrical installation into operation. MDF Elektrik performs cable termination, terminal connection, labeling and functional checks for LV distribution, MCC, DDC and automation panels. During commissioning, each line is verified by measurement to confirm it reaches the correct panel, breaker and field equipment.

Application Details

  • Power cable termination in LV distribution panels
  • Motor supply and control connections in MCC panels
  • Signal, supply and communication connections in DDC and automation panels
  • Line labeling, terminal numbering and circuit checks after panel connection
  • Insulation, phase sequence and function tests before energizing

Application Process

  1. 1Panel diagrams, terminal plans and site cable lists are compared.
  2. 2Cables are terminated with proper lugs, terminals and glands; internal panel wiring is organized.
  3. 3Each cable label, circuit name and equipment connection is matched with the site list.
  4. 4Measurements are taken before energizing; function checks are completed during commissioning.

Delivered Work

  • Connected panel and field equipment lines
  • Labeled cable, terminal and circuit information
  • Measurement and function test records
  • Post-commissioning punch and revision list

Application Areas

  • Power distribution centers
  • MCC and motor control panels
  • Building automation and BMS infrastructure panels
  • HVAC, pump, fan and mechanical system supplies
  • Production line panel connection and revision works

MDF Elektrik's Approach

We do not consider the job complete without organized termination, correct labeling and measurement records. After connection, maintenance teams must be able to trace each circuit quickly; that is part of our handover criteria.
